Job Description – Site Engineer (Civil)
Deployment Location: Various Project Sites all over Chhattisgarh, India
Contract Duration: 12 Months (Extendable based on project requirements)
Background
The Site Engineer (Civil) shall support implementation and supervision of infrastructure development projects at the field level. The engineer shall be responsible for day-to-day site supervision, measurements, quality checks, progress monitoring, and coordination with contractors and client representatives.
Educational Qualification
- B.Tech (Civil) or Diploma (Civil) from a recognized institution.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience for B.Tech (Civil) or Minimum 5 years of experience for Diploma (Civil).
- Experience in civil infrastructure works, site supervision, measurements, and quality control.
- Experience in solid waste management projects shall be preferred.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project timelines.
- Monitor site progress, manpower, equipment deployment, contractor performance, and project milestones while identifying delays, bottlenecks, risks, and recommending corrective measures.
- Conduct measurements, verify executed quantities, maintain measurement records, assist in BOQ verification, verify contractor billing, payment certifications, and preparation of completion documentation.
- Ensure quality assurance through inspection of materials, workmanship, quality control tests, and compliance with applicable engineering standards, codes, and guidelines.
- Maintain and submit project documentation, assisting in preparation of progress and inspection reports, coordinate with contractors, local authorities, consultants, and client representatives, and provide technical support during project implementation and monitoring.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
