Job Title: Apprentice Trainee – Electrical Maintenance
Duration: 1 Year Apprenticeship
We are looking for a motivated and technically inclined Apprentice Trainee – Electrical Maintenance
to support electrical maintenance activities. The trainee will gain hands-on experience in industrial
electrical systems, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, safety practices, and rolling mill
operations while working closely with the maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment and machinery.
- Follow electrical safety procedures including LOTO (Lockout & Tagout) practices.
- Gain basic understanding of PLC systems and their working principles.
- Learn basic industrial drive operations and maintenance.
- Support MCC (Motor Control Centre) panel inspection and maintenance activities.
- Assist in operation and monitoring of 20 Hi rolling mill HMI systems.
- Learn DG (Diesel Generator) operation and basic maintenance procedures.
- Support heater panel operation and heater maintenance activities.
- Maintain housekeeping and workplace organization through 5S practices.
- Follow fire, electrical, and workplace safety standards at all times.
- Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.
- Support maintenance documentation and reporting activities.
- Understanding of motors, starters, control panels, and electrical safety.
- Basic awareness of PLC, drives, and industrial automation systems.
- Maintain process documentation and reporting activities
- Gain basic awareness of ISO systems including QMS, EMS, and Occupational Health & Safety
requirements.
Required Qualifications and Skill-sets
● Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
● Experience: – 0 to 1 years.
● Basic knowledge of electrical maintenance and industrial electrical systems.
● Effective communication and coordination skills.
● Understanding of industrial safety practices.
● Basic computer knowledge (MS Office).
● Discipline and punctuality.
Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
