The Junior Non-Clinical Tutor / Demonstrator is responsible for assisting faculty members in teaching undergraduate medical students, conducting practical and demonstration sessions, maintaining departmental records, supporting academic and research activities, and ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist faculty in conducting MBBS theory classes, tutorials, and practical sessions.
- Demonstrate laboratory procedures and assist students during practical classes.
- Prepare teaching materials, presentations, and laboratory manuals.
- Maintain practical records, attendance, and departmental documentation.
- Assist in conducting internal assessments, examinations, and evaluations.
- Supervise laboratory activities and ensure proper maintenance of equipment and teaching resources.
- Participate in departmental seminars, journal clubs, CMEs, and faculty development programmes.
- Assist in research projects, publications, and academic activities.
- Provide academic guidance and mentorship to undergraduate students.
- Ensure adherence to institutional policies, safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines.
- Perform other academic and administrative duties assigned by the Head of Department.
Qualification
- MBBS from a recognized institution.
- Must possess a valid registration with the appropriate Medical Council.
Experience
- Fresh MBBS graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Prior teaching or research experience will be an added advantage.

Working Conditions
- Full-time academic position.
