Assistant Manager – PR

About the Role
The Assistant Manager - Public relations will be responsible for executing PR initiatives, managing media relationships, coordinating with PR agencies, and driving positive brand visibility for the developer and its promoter. The role will play a key part in strengthning the corporate brand, enhancing the promoter's thought leadership, and ensuring consistent communication across all media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute PR plans for project launches, corporate announcements, and brand campaigns.
- Prepare and manage the annual PR calendar aligned with marketing objectives.
- Drive brand-building initiatives to enhance the visibility and reputation of the company and its promoter across print, digital, television, and industry media.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, media houses, and industry influencers.
- Coordinate with external PR agencies to ensure timely and effective execution of communication plans.
- Draft and review press releases, media notes, leadership communication, speeches, interview briefs, and thought leadership articles.
- Secure high-quality media coverage across business, real estate, lifestyle, and financial publications.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare PR performance reports, media tracking, and competitor analysis.
- Manage crisis communication and safeguard the reputation of the company and its promoter.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, and Leadership teams to ensure communication initiatives support overall business objectives.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Public Relations, preferably in the real estate, luxury, hospitality, or lifestyle sectors.
- Strong network with journalists, editors, and media professionals across Mumbai and national business, real estate, and lifestyle publications.
- Proven experience in managing PR agencies and multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong content development capabilities.
- Strong planning, organizational, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
