Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Bending Operator to operate and maintain bending machines for sheet metal fabrication activities. The candidate should have hands-on experience in reading engineering drawings, setting up bending parameters, and producing components as per quality requirements.
Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesMachine Operation
- Operate CNC/NC/Hydraulic Press Brake and Bending Machines efficiently.
- Set up tools, dies, and machine parameters as per production requirements.
- Perform bending operations according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Ensure accurate bending angles, dimensions, and tolerances.
Production Activities
- Execute daily production plans as assigned by the supervisor.
- Achieve production targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Minimize material wastage and machine downtime.
- Monitor machine performance and report any abnormalities.
Quality Control
- Inspect finished components for dimensional accuracy.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Height Gauges, Protractors, and Measuring Tapes.
- Ensure products meet customer specifications and quality requirements.
- Segregate and report non-conforming materials immediately.
Maintenance & Safety
- Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.
- Maintain housekeeping standards around the machine and work area.
- Report machine breakdowns and safety concerns to the supervisor.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain production records and shift reports.
- Record production output, rejections, and downtime details.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams for smooth operations.
Required Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma / PUC or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Bending Operator in Sheet Metal, Fabrication, or Manufacturing Industry.
- Experience in operating CNC/NC Press Brake Machines preferred.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
