About the opportunity:
Business Unit: Energy & Power
The primary responsibilities of an Engineer - Electrical Infrastructure would be:
Development of Key Line diagram, Protection SLD
Preparation of Load list
Electrical equipment sizing calculations (Transformer, DG, Switchgear, UPS, Battery)
VVVF Drive selection and scheme development
Cable sizing calculations, cable schedule & control cable schedule preparation, Routing drawings development
Substation layout preparation, Lighting calculations & Lighting layout preparation
Electrical equipment datasheet preparation (Transformer, Motor, HV/LV Switchgear, DG, VVVF drive)
Preparation of Equipment specifications (Transformer, HV/LV Switchgear, DG)
LV Switchgear schematic drawings preparation
Power system studies (Load flow, Short-circuit, Motor starting, Protection coordination, Arc flash studies, Harmonic studies)
Here's what you'll need
Qualifications:
Software Tools - ETAP, SKM Power tool, Dialux, AutoCAD
Vendor data collection, Vendor drawings review
Inter-discipline coordination
Working experience on Australia projects is desirable
Capable of working under challenging workload subject to change at short notice.
Good communication
Good knowledge on IEC standards, AS/NZS standards
Clear knowledge of work procedures, and ability to work independently.
Able to communicate confidently with client or Foreign counterpart.
Attending meetings with project leads/Engineers.
Work with client and project managers to understand client requirements for key projects.
