About the Role
Advance Dental Export is seeking a Software Support & Troubleshooting Engineer to provide technical support for intraoral scanners. The ideal candidate will have experience in software installation, hardware troubleshooting, Microsoft Windows, and integrating intraoral scanners with laptops and related hardware. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, customer interaction, and occasional travel for installations and technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot intraoral scanner software and hardware.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to intraoral scanners, laptops, Microsoft Windows and hardware integration.
- Perform software installation, configuration, updates and firmware upgrades.
- Ensure seamless compatibility between intraoral scanner and laptop.
- Coordinate with intraoral scanner manufacturers and laptop vendors to resolve advanced technical issues.
- Provide remote and on-site technical support to dentist.
- Maintain accurate documentation of installations, service reports, and technical resolutions.
- Train dentist on the installation, setup, and basic operation of intraoral scanners.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer issues while delivering excellent service.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in technical support, software support, field service, or application support, preferably in intraoral scanners, dental equipment, medical devices, or imaging systems.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, software installation, system configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of computer hardware, networking and peripheral integration.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel for customer installations, demonstrations, and technical support.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with intraoral scanners or other digital dental equipment.
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM, dental imaging software, or digital dentistry workflows.
- Experience with remote support tools and software deployment.
- Understanding of networking, device connectivity, and hardware integration.
