Qualification required:
- B.E (Mech Eng)/ Diploma (Mech Eng) - Required
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day fabrication and production activities on the shop floor.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per schedule and customer requirements.
- Monitor fabrication activities such as cutting, welding, fitting, grinding, drilling, assembly, and finishing.
- Allocate work to operators, welders, fitters, and helpers.
- Monitor attendance, discipline, and shift activities of workers.
- Ensure smooth workflow and proper work sequencing.
- Ensure fabrication work meets drawing specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with QA/QC team for inspections and corrective actions.
- Ensure workers follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Coordinate with purchase, stores, maintenance, QC, and dispatch departments.
- Maintain daily production reports and shift records.
- Track productivity, rejection, rework, and machine utilization.
- Suggest process improvements for productivity and cost reduction.
Preferred Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in fabrication or manufacturing industry.
- Experience in structural steel fabrication, heavy fabrication, or industrial projects preferred.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
