About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Medical Sales Engineer to manage and grow relationships with critical, high-value customers across India. This is a capital equipment B2B sales role suited for someone who thrives on the road, builds strong long-term client relationships, and understands the medical/hospital ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of critical accounts/customers across India (hospitals, diagnostic centers, institutions).
- Drive end-to-end B2B sales of capital/medical equipment — from lead generation to closure and post-sale relationship management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in hospitals — procurement teams, doctors, biomedical engineers, and administrators.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence in assigned territories.
- Coordinate with internal teams (service, logistics, finance) to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on competitor products, pricing, and market trends in the medical equipment space.
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and submit regular reports on pipeline and forecasts.
- Travel extensively across India to meet customers, attend conferences/exhibitions, and support tenders/installations as needed.
Candidate Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in capital equipment sales / B2B sales, preferably in the medical equipment / healthcare industry.
- Proven experience connecting with hospitals, doctors, or healthcare institutions, OR strong background in medical equipment/device sales.
- Comfortable with intense, PAN-India travel.
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to manage a large/critical account base independently.
- Good communication skills (English + regional languages preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Science/Pharmacy or related field; MBA is a plus.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
