Job Title: Tool Room & Power Press Operator

Job Summary:
Responsible for operating power press machines and supporting tool room activities for the production of brass watch bracelet components and other sheet metal parts. The role includes die setting, machine operation, quality inspection, tool maintenance, and ensuring safe and efficient production.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate power press machines for brass watch bracelet and sheet metal component manufacturing.
* Perform die setup, tool changeover, and machine adjustments.
* Produce components as per drawings and quality standards.
* Inspect parts using Vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring instruments.
* Assist in tool room activities including die maintenance, repair, polishing, and assembly.
* Identify and report tool wear, die damage, and machine issues.
* Maintain production records and ensure minimum rejection.
* Follow safety procedures, 5S standards, and housekeeping requirements.
Qualifications:
* ITI (Tool & Die Maker, Fitter, Machinist) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
* Experience in power press operation, tool room work, and sheet metal manufacturing preferred.
Skills Required:
* Knowledge of power press machines and die setting.
* Understanding of brass and sheet metal component manufacturing.
* Ability to read engineering drawings.
* Knowledge of measuring instruments and quality inspection.
* Basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.
Experience:
1–5 years of experience in Brass components, sheet metal operations, or tool room activities.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
