Workday Implementation Project Manager

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Workday Implementation Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, governance, and delivery of a Workday implementation. The role will coordinate internal teams, Workday, implementation partners, and third-party vendors to ensure the project stays on track with scope, timelines, budget, and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end Workday implementation project plan.
- Coordinate functional, technical, data, integration, testing, payroll, training, and change-management activities.
- Establish project governance, milestones, ownership, meeting cadence, and reporting.
- Track scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with Workday, implementation partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Lead project meetings, steering committees, status reviews, and readiness assessments.
- Identify project risks, resource constraints, delays, and dependencies and drive timely resolution.
- Manage change requests, scope changes, vendor deliverables, and budget impacts.
- Ensure proper planning for data conversion, UAT, payroll testing, integrations, training, and go-live.
- Lead cutover, go-live, stabilization, knowledge transfer, and project closure activities.
- Provide clear project updates and escalation reports to senior leadership.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Information Systems, Finance, Project Management, or related field.
- 7+ years of project/program management experience in enterprise technology or transformation projects.
- Experience managing at least one full Workday implementation or a comparable enterprise cloud implementation.
- Strong experience managing multiple workstreams, vendors, integrations, data migration, testing, and business readiness.
- Good knowledge of project governance, risk/issue management, change control, budgeting, and resource planning.
- Experience working with implementation partners and third-party vendors.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools.
Preferred:
- Experience with HRIS, Payroll, Finance, or enterprise SaaS implementations.
- Workday implementation/project management experience in a large or global organization.
Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹180,000.00 per month
