About DynaScrew
DynaScrew is Kinemach's precision automatic screw-feeding and screw-driving systems line, based in Pune. Its product range spans handheld systems, fixtured machines, robotic Robostations, and bespoke solutions covering the M2-M10 screw range, engineered to cut assembly cycle time by up to 60%.
DynaScrew's equipment is built for high-volume, precision assembly lines and is sold primarily as engineered-to-order or semi-custom systems integrated directly into a customer's existing production line - most commonly in the automotive and white goods/appliance manufacturing sectors.
Role Summary
We're looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to own DynaScrew's push into the automotive and white goods/appliance manufacturing sectors - selling precision auto-screwing systems (handheld, fixtured, robotic Robostation, and bespoke integration) that eliminate manual fastening errors and cut assembly cycle time by up to 60%.
DynaScrew sells direct, with no distributor layer - you are the face of the sale end-to-end, from the first plant visit through commissioning sign-off. This is a results-from-day-one role: you should already carry an active network in this space and be able to originate and close business without a ramp-up period.
This role is domestic-focused (for at least the next year) and involves very heavy field travel - expect to spend the large majority of your time on the road at client assembly plants across India rather than in the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Work two distinct deal types deliberately, since they need different pitches: retrofit opportunities inside existing manual assembly lines, and new-line/greenfield capex where auto-screwing can be specified in from the start.
- For retrofit deals, run on-site audits of manual fastening stations (cycle time, torque/quality escapes, rework, labor cost) and build the ROI case that justifies the automation spend.
- For new-line deals, build relationships with OEM/Tier-1 project and industrial engineering teams early in their capex planning cycle, positioning DynaScrew's M2-M10 range and Robostation integration before the line design is locked.
- Track upcoming plant expansions and new-line announcements in the automotive and appliance sectors as a primary lead source, alongside referrals and direct enquiries, since there is no distributor channel feeding the pipeline.
- Own technical scoping (screw range, feed rate, hopper capacity, integration into existing robotic or fixtured stations) in coordination with the in-house design/engineering team, and turn it into a proposal and quote.
- Negotiate and close directly with plant and procurement decision-makers, since there is no channel partner to lean on for relationship or commercial support.
- Travel extensively to automotive and white goods manufacturing plants across India; build and manage an account-based pipeline with CRM discipline.
- Represent DynaScrew at automotive/manufacturing industry forums and trade shows to build the top of funnel.
Requirements
- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Production, or a related engineering discipline.
- 8+ years of technical/B2B sales experience in industrial automation, assembly-line integration, or fastening/screw-driving equipment, with a proven track record of closing engineered-to-order deals, ideally spanning both retrofit and new-line capex sales.
- An existing, active network of contacts within automotive OEMs/Tier-1s and/or white goods/appliance manufacturers.
- Comfortable running an on-site process audit (cycle time, torque/quality data) and building an ROI-based business case, not just a feature pitch.
- Ability to run a fully direct sales motion, with no distributor or channel support, from first contact through commissioning.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively and stay on the road for extended periods.
- Strong negotiation skills and comfort closing high-value, engineered-equipment deals independently.
Preferred
- Experience selling into greenfield or brownfield auto/appliance plant expansions.
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0/automation-upgrade narratives and cost-of-ownership arguments versus imported systems.
- Existing relationships with industrial engineering and quality teams, not just procurement, at target accounts.
What We Offer
- Opportunity to represent an established engineering solutions group with a strong client base.
- Competitive fixed compensation with performance-linked incentives on closed business.
- Exposure to complex, high-value, engineered-to-order capital equipment sales.
- Autonomy to own a territory/account base end-to-end, with the backing of an in-house design and engineering team.
