We are looking for an experienced Database Developer with 3–5 years of hands-on expertise in PostgreSQL and modern data lakehouse technologies, including MinIO, Dremio, and Apache Iceberg. The selected candidate will design, develop, and optimize database solutions and data lakehouse architectures that power our analytics and data platform initiatives. This is a full-time, work-from-office role based in Noida.

Design, develop, and maintain PostgreSQL databases, including schemas, tables, indexes, views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.

Write, optimize, and tune complex SQL queries for high performance on large datasets.

Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, indexing strategies, and partitioning.

Design and implement data lakehouse solutions using Apache Iceberg table format on MinIO object storage.

Configure, manage, and optimize Dremio as the query/acceleration layer (reflections, datasets, semantic layer) for analytics workloads.

Administer and manage MinIO object storage – buckets, policies, lifecycle rules, versioning, and access control.

Build and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data between PostgreSQL, MinIO, and Iceberg tables.

Implement Iceberg features such as schema evolution, partition evolution, time travel, snapshots, and table maintenance (compaction, snapshot expiry).

Ensure data integrity, consistency, security, and availability across all data platforms.

Implement backup, recovery, replication, and high-availability strategies for PostgreSQL.

Monitor database and data platform health; troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and incidents.

Collaborate with data engineers, application developers, and BI/analytics teams to deliver reliable data solutions.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation, data models, and best-practice guidelines.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of database development standards.

PostgreSQL (Mandatory): Strong expertise in database design, advanced SQL, PL/pgSQL, query optimization, indexing, partitioning, vacuum/analyze, and performance tuning.

Apache Iceberg: Hands-on experience with Iceberg table format – schema/partition evolution, time travel, snapshots, metadata management, and table maintenance.

Dremio: Experience configuring and using Dremio for data virtualization and query acceleration (reflections, virtual datasets, source configuration).

MinIO / Object Storage: Working knowledge of S3-compatible object storage – bucket management, IAM policies, erasure coding, and integration with data lake tools.

Strong command of SQL and solid understanding of data modeling (OLTP and OLAP/dimensional modeling).

Experience with ETL/ELT development; exposure to tools/frameworks such as Apache Spark, Airflow, dbt, or NiFi is a plus.

Scripting skills in Python and/or Shell for automation and data processing.

Familiarity with Linux environments and Git-based version control.

Good to have: Docker/Kubernetes, query engines (Trino/Presto, Spark SQL), Parquet/ORC/Avro file formats, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus).

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (B.Tech / B.E. / MCA / M.Tech).

3–5 years of proven experience as a Database Developer / Data Engineer with strong PostgreSQL background.

Demonstrable hands-on experience with at least two of: MinIO, Dremio, Apache Iceberg (all three preferred).
