About the role: Sharp & Tannan Associate is seeking an experienced professional for the role of Assistant Manager - Internal Audit
As a Assistant Manager - We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional for the role of Assistant Manager – Internal Audit. The candidate will be responsible for executing internal audits with a strong focus on Internal Financial Controls (IFC), along with exposure to audits of listed companies. The role requires a sound understanding of key business cycles including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Hire-to-Retire (H2R).
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute internal audit assignments in line with the annual audit plan
- Evaluate and test the design and operating effectiveness of Internal Financial Controls (IFC)
- Conduct risk assessments and identify control gaps across business processes
- Perform audits for listed entities, ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate governance requirements
- Review and assess key process cycles including:
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- Order-to-Cash (O2C)
- Hire-to-Retire (H2R)
- Prepare audit reports, highlighting observations, risks, and actionable recommendations
- Coordinate with process owners to ensure timely closure of audit findings
- Support in SOX / IFC documentation and testing where applicable
- Assist in developing audit methodologies, checklists, and best practices
- Stay updated with evolving regulatory requirements and industry trends
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of Internal Financial Controls (IFC) frameworks
- Experience in auditing listed companies
- Good understanding of business processes (P2P, O2C, H2R)
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and audit tools
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
Educational Qualification:
- Chartered Accountant (CA)
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in Big 4 / reputed consulting firms will be an added advantage
- Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP / Oracle
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
