Job Summary:
We are seeking a technically skilled Metal Quality Check Specialist to support the diamond certification process by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of metal components used in jewelry .
The role involves evaluating metal purity, workmanship, and compliance with quality standards, while working closely with certification and operations teams to maintain high levels of precision and credibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed inspection of metal components in jewellery submitted for diamond certification
- Verify metal purity, composition, weight, and hallmarking as per defined standards
- Ensure that metal quality aligns with certification requirements and industry regulations
- Identify defects, inconsistencies, or deviations in metal quality and workmanship
- Coordinate with gemologists and certification teams to ensure seamless evaluation processes
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of quality checks and findings
- Support audit processes and ensure adherence to internal quality protocols
- Stay updated on industry standards, hallmarking norms, and best practices
- Assist in improving quality control processes and inspection methodologies
Required Skills & Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of precious metals (gold, platinum, silver) and their quality standards
- Familiarity with hallmarking, metal purity testing, and jewellery manufacturing processes
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to identify defects and ensure compliance with certification norms
- Good coordination and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Jewellery Design, Gemology, Metallurgy, or related field
- Certification in metal testing or quality control (preferred)
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
