Job Purpose:
To supervise the assembly activities of Distribution Boxes and ensure that products are assembled safely, efficiently, and as per quality standards and production schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily assembly activities for Distribution Boxes.
- Allocate work to assembly workers and provide proper instructions.
- Ensure assembly work is carried out as per approved drawings and work instructions.
- Supervise fitting, component installation, wiring, and other assembly activities.
- Ensure proper use and installation of electrical components and hardware.
- Monitor daily production targets and ensure timely completion of work.
- Check product quality at different stages of assembly.
- Identify and report defects, rework, and quality issues.
- Ensure proper utilization of materials, tools, and manpower.
- Coordinate with Store, Quality, Production, and other departments.
- Ensure compliance with safety rules and proper use of PPE.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S standards in the Assembly area.
- Provide training and guidance to assembly workers.
- Maintain daily production and assembly records.
- Ensure discipline and proper work practices within the team.
- Report production, quality, and manpower-related issues to the concerned senior.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of Distribution Box assembly processes.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Knowledge of electrical components and assembly practices.
- Leadership and team-handling skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and 5S.
- Experience in production supervision and manpower handling.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
