Key Responsibilities
- Cold Calling: Place outbound calls to leads and prospects from provided or self-generated contact lists.
- Pitching & Persuasion: Follow or adapt prepared sales scripts to explain product features, benefits, and pricing to consumers.
- Lead Generation & Booking: Qualify prospective buyers and schedule appointments for field sales teams or management.
- Data Management: Accurately update customer details, call outcomes, and payment information into Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases.
- Objection Handling: Address customer questions, resolve complaints, and overcome rejection in a professional, patient manner.
- Target Achievement: Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly quotas for sales volume or leads generated.
Essential Requirements & Skills
- Communication: Exceptional verbal communication, active listening skills, and a clear, pleasant telephone voice.
- Sales Aptitude: Proven experience in B2B or B2C telephone sales with a strong focus on negotiation and closing deals.
- Persistence & Resilience: The ability to handle rejection calmly, stay motivated under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude.
- Tech Literacy: Familiarity with telephone systems, databases, and CRM software.
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
