Job Description: Director of Information Technology
Role Overview As the Director of IT, you will be the strategic architect of our technological infrastructure. You will oversee all IT operations, from high-level digital transformation strategies to the daily management of educational platforms and data security. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader who understands how to leverage technology to enhance learning outcomes and organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive IT roadmap that aligns with the organization’s expansion goals and the evolving EdTech landscape.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) to support high-traffic educational portals.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance: Ensure 100% data privacy and security for student and staff information, maintaining compliance with relevant educational data protection laws.
- Product & Platform Oversight: Collaborate with the Academic and Product teams to ensure the Learning Management System (LMS) and mobile applications are robust, user-friendly, and bug-free.
- Team Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of system administrators, developers, and support specialists.
- Budgeting & Vendor Management: Manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness in hardware/software procurement and maintaining strong relationships with third-party service providers.
- Digital Transformation: Identify and implement emerging technologies (AI, machine learning, data analytics) to personalize the learning experience and automate internal operations.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. MBA or relevant certifications (PMP, CISM, CISSP) are a significant plus.
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in IT, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role, preferably within the EdTech or SaaS sector.
- Technical Proficiency: * Strong knowledge of cloud architecture and DevOps practices.
- Experience managing large-scale database systems and API integrations.
- Familiarity with LMS platforms (Moodle, Canvas, or custom builds).
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and leading large-scale digital migration projects.
- Communication: Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
