- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and billing software
- Good communication and customer handling skills
Job Summary
The Billing Executive / Cashier is responsible for preparing accurate invoices, handling customer payments, maintaining daily cash transactions, and ensuring smooth billing operations while delivering excellent customer service.
Key ResponsibilitiesBilling
- Prepare customer invoices for vehicle service, spare parts, and other transactions.
- Verify job cards and billing details before generating invoices.
- Ensure all invoices are accurate and comply with company policies.
- Coordinate with the Service and Spare Parts departments to resolve billing discrepancies.
Cash Handling
- Receive payments through cash, UPI, credit/debit cards, and bank transfers.
- Issue receipts for all customer payments.
- Maintain accurate cash collections and balances.
- Perform daily cash reconciliation and submit reports to the Accounts department.
Documentation
- Maintain billing records and supporting documents.
- File invoices and payment receipts systematically.
- Assist in preparing daily sales and collection reports.
Customer Service
- Address customer billing queries professionally.
- Ensure a smooth and timely billing experience.
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer concerns.
Compliance
- Follow company financial policies and internal controls.
- Ensure confidentiality of financial information.
- Support internal and external audits whenever required.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in automobile dealership billing.
- Knowledge of GST billing procedures.
- Familiarity with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) is an added advantage.
