Key Responsibilities
Material Testing
- Conduct testing of cement, aggregates, sand, concrete, steel, bricks/blocks, soil, and other construction materials as per approved standards.
- Perform field and laboratory tests including slump test, cube casting, cube compressive strength testing, sieve analysis, moisture content, compaction tests, and other required quality tests.
- Verify that incoming materials conform to approved specifications before use.
Concrete Quality Control
- Check concrete workability before placement.
- Prepare, label, cure, and maintain concrete test cubes.
- Maintain cube testing schedules and record compressive strength results.
- Report any deviations immediately to the QC Engineer.
Site Quality Monitoring
- Assist in inspecting construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality procedures.
- Monitor batching, mixing, transportation, placing, vibration, and curing of concrete.
- Verify proper storage and handling of construction materials.
Documentation
- Maintain complete records of all laboratory and field tests.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
- Maintain calibration records of testing equipment.
- Ensure all test reports are properly filed and available for audits.
Equipment Maintenance
- Maintain laboratory equipment in good working condition.
- Ensure timely calibration and servicing of testing instruments.
- Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment immediately.
Compliance & Safety
- Follow relevant IS Codes, project specifications, and client quality requirements.
- Ensure laboratory activities comply with site safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the site laboratory.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Certification in Construction Material Testing (preferred).
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in laboratory testing for building construction projects.
- Experience with RCC residential, commercial, or government projects is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of IS Codes and construction quality standards.
- Proficiency in concrete, soil, aggregate, and material testing.
- Ability to prepare accurate test reports.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word).
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and testing procedures.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
