Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Zoho Books Management
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date books in Zoho Books on a daily basis
* Record all purchase invoices, sales invoices, expenses, and journal entries
* Reconcile bank statements and Zoho Books ledger monthly
* Manage accounts payable and ensure timely vendor payments
* Track subscription revenue, deferred income, and customer accounts
GST & Tax Compliance
* Prepare and review GSTR-1, GSTR-3B filings in coordination with the CA team
* Perform GSTR-2B reconciliation and flag mismatches proactively
* Manage TDS deductions and deposits under applicable sections (194-I, 194C, 194J, etc.)
* Maintain TDS certificates and ensure Form 26AS alignment
* Support annual LLP tax filing and return preparation
Vendor & Expense Management
* Process vendor invoices, verify GST applicability, and record correctly
* Maintain a vendor master with PAN, GSTIN, and payment terms
* Track and reconcile petty cash and operational expenses
* Flag unusual expenses or vendor billing discrepancies to the Director
Reporting & MIS
* Prepare monthly P&L summary, cash flow statement, and expense reports for the Director
* Maintain a real-time cash position tracker updated weekly
* Produce subscription revenue reports segmented by channel (D2C, B2B, hospitality)
* Support the Director in interpreting financial data for business decisions
Coordination & Liaison
* Act as the primary point of contact for the external CA team for routine queries
* Coordinate on Zoho Books data integrity and operational entries
* Support onboarding of new vendors with documentation and compliance checks
* Assist in preparation of documents for audits, due diligence, or investor reviews
Required Qualifications
* B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent accounting qualification
* 2–4 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in an SME or startup
* Proficiency in Zoho Books (mandatory — candidates without this will not be considered)
* Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and LLP compliance requirements
* Strong command of MS Excel for MIS and reconciliation tasks
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
