Position Purpose
The Showroom Assistant Studio Manager will be the day-to-day face of the assigned cluster's studios, responsible for actively engaging walk-in customers, presenting products and finishes with confidence, and driving sales at the studio level. This role works closely with the Showroom Cluster Manager to ensure smooth studio operations, upkeep, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage walk-in customers across the studios in the assigned cluster, understanding their requirements and guiding them through relevant product options.
- Demonstrate strong product and finish knowledge across the studios' categories to advise customers confidently and accurately.
- Achieve individual and studio-level sales targets through proactive selling and follow-up.
- Maintain showroom cleanliness, product display, and visual merchandising standards on a daily basis.
- Coordinate with the Cluster Manager on stock, sample availability, and replenishment needs.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Handle basic customer queries and escalate complex issues to the Cluster Manager as needed.
- Maintain daily footfall, enquiry, and sales records/logs as per company format.
- Ensure studio opening/closing procedures, upkeep, and safety of samples and displays.
- Coordinate with design and sourcing teams for customer-specific requirements or custom orders.
- Stay updated on new product launches, finishes, and industry trends relevant to the studios.
- Support the Cluster Manager in day-to-day administrative and operational tasks of the studio.
Requirements & Skills
- Good English communication skills (spoken & written)
- Strong knowledge of products and finishes
- Confident and presentable while engaging with customers
- Hindi speaking will be an added advantage
- Smart, well-groomed, and professional appearance
- Strong customer handling and sales skills
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Ability to build rapport quickly and handle diverse customer profiles.
- Basic understanding of retail/showroom operations and inventory handling.
- Team player with the flexibility to support across studios within the cluster.
Experience & Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline; a background in interior/furnishing/retail sales preferred.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in showroom sales, retail, or customer-facing roles.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
