Job Summary
ARB Buildcon is looking for an experienced Safety Executive to ensure the implementation and monitoring of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices across construction sites. The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of experience in the construction industry, a strong understanding of safety regulations, and the ability to foster a culture of safety while ensuring compliance with statutory and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures at the construction site.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.
- Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations, company policies, and client safety requirements.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and regular safety awareness programs for employees and contractors.
- Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforce safety compliance.
- Prepare and maintain safety documentation, including inspection reports, incident reports, permits, and safety records.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, identify root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor high-risk activities such as work at height, lifting operations, excavation, hot work, confined space entry, and electrical work.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, including mock drills and evacuation procedures.
- Ensure fire prevention measures, first-aid facilities, and emergency equipment are available and maintained.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, contractors, and regulatory authorities on safety-related matters.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports and present safety performance to project management.
- Promote a proactive safety culture through continuous monitoring and employee engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety, Construction Safety, or an equivalent HSE qualification.
- 5–8 years of experience as a Safety Executive in construction projects.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, HSE regulations, and risk assessment.
- Experience in permit-to-work systems and hazard identification.
- Familiarity with incident investigation and root cause analysis.
- Good knowledge of emergency response and fire safety procedures.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and training skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation.
- Ability to influence safe work practices across all levels of the organization.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
