Roles and Responsibilities of a Pre-Primary TeacherTeaching & Learning
- Plan and conduct age-appropriate classroom activities.
- Teach basic concepts such as alphabets, numbers, colors, shapes, and rhymes.
- Develop children’s communication, social, emotional, and motor skills.
- Use creative teaching methods like storytelling, music, games, and activities.
- Encourage curiosity, creativity, and independent learning.
Classroom Management
- Maintain a safe, clean, and child-friendly classroom environment.
- Manage classroom discipline with patience and positive reinforcement.
- Organize learning materials, teaching aids, and activity corners.
- Ensure children follow daily routines and classroom rules.
Child Development & Care
- Observe and monitor each child’s progress and behavior.
- Support children in developing confidence and good habits.
- Assist children with hygiene, eating habits, and basic self-care skills.
- Identify learning difficulties or behavioral concerns and inform the management/parents.
Communication & Coordination
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and behavior.
- Attend parent-teacher meetings and school events.
- Coordinate with co-teachers and school management for academic planning.
- Maintain student records, attendance, and assessment reports.
Activities & Events
- Participate in celebrations, competitions, and special school events.
- Prepare children for stage performances and classroom presentations.
- Decorate classrooms and activity boards creatively.
Professional Responsibilities
- Follow school policies, curriculum, and teaching standards.
- Upgrade teaching skills through training and workshops.
- Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and positive behavior at school.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
