About the Role
We are a mid-sized Chartered Accountancy firm seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Audit assistant. The role offers practical exposure to accounting, auditing, taxation, statutory compliances, and financial reporting while working alongside experienced Chartered Accountants. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in bookkeeping, accounting, and preparation of financial records for multiple client engagements.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and periodic financial reports.
- Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and other assurance engagements.
- Prepare and review GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliance workings and returns.
- Assist in ROC and other regulatory compliance assignments, as applicable.
- Assist in responding to queries from tax authorities, auditors, and regulatory agencies.
- Maintain proper documentation and working papers in accordance with professional standards and firm policies.
Requirements
- CA Intermediate (pass)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in addition to the article ship completion experience.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and taxation.
- Familiarity with Tally ERP/Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to learn and work under the guidance of Chartered Accountants.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Tally Prime or similar ERP software.
- Basic understanding of financial statements and bookkeeping.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
