About the Role
Achyutam Technology is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic WordPress & Shopify Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress and Shopify websites with a focus on performance, responsiveness, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain WordPress and Shopify websites.
- Customize WordPress themes, plugins, and Shopify themes as per project requirements.
- Build responsive, mobile-friendly, and SEO-friendly websites.
- Install, configure, and manage WordPress plugins and Shopify apps.
- Create landing pages and custom website sections.
- Troubleshoot website issues and fix bugs promptly.
- Optimize website speed, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with the design and digital marketing teams to implement website updates.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.
- Perform regular website backups, updates, and maintenance.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of WordPress and Shopify development.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
- Basic understanding of PHP and MySQL (for WordPress customization).
- Familiarity with Elementor, WooCommerce, and Shopify theme customization.
- Knowledge of website speed optimization and technical SEO best practices.
- Understanding of domain, hosting, SSL, DNS, and cPanel management.
- Ability to debug and resolve website-related issues.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Eligibility
- 0–1+ years of experience in WordPress and/or Shopify development.
- Freshers with live projects or a strong portfolio are encouraged to apply.
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is preferred.
- Portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing previous work will be an added advantage.
