Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Godown Manager to manage day-to-day warehouse operations in Hadapsar, Pune.
Key Responsibilities
Manage complete day-to-day godown/warehouse operations.
Ensure proper receipt, storage, handling and dispatch of FMCG stock.
Maintain accurate stock records, inventory registers and dispatch documentation.
Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation.
Monitor loading and unloading activities and supervise godown labour.
Ensure proper brand-wise, SKU-wise and quantity-wise stock management.
Coordinate with sales, dispatch, transport and accounts teams.
Monitor inward and outward movement of goods and ensure documentation accuracy.
Prevent stock shortages, excesses, damages and pilferage.
Maintain proper housekeeping, safety and security standards.
Handle stock audits, inspections and documentation whenever required.
Lead and supervise the godown team effectively.
Candidate Profile
5+ years of experience in godown/warehouse management.
FMCG distribution or beverage distribution experience will be preferred.
Good knowledge of inventory control, stock reconciliation and dispatch operations.
Experience in supervising labour and warehouse staff.
Good communication, discipline and leadership skills.
Basic computer knowledge, especially MS Excel and inventory systems.
Honest, responsible and capable of handling high-value stock.
