We are looking for a skilled Java Developer with strong expertise in Open-Source technologies, REST APIs, Kafka, Spring Boot, and Unix/Linux environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in backend development and be comfortable working with DBMS systems in high-performance, scalable environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to support front-end functionalities and third-party integrations.
Leverage open-source libraries and tools to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently.
Work with Kafka for building reliable, scalable data pipelines and streaming services.
Write efficient database queries, stored procedures, and optimize performance across various DBMS platforms (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
Operate within Unix/Linux environments, write shell scripts and troubleshoot server-side issues.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and maintain high coding standards.
Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and other developers in an Agile environment.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
4+ years of hands-on experience in Java (8 or above).
Strong understanding of Spring Boot and Spring ecosystem.
Strong understanding of Micro Services and collection, Design patten and Data Structure
Proven experience in developing RESTful APIs.
Proficiency in using Kafka for real-time data streaming.
Solid experience with relational DBMS (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle).
Familiarity with Unix/Linux systems and shell scripting.
Experience working with open-source tools and frameworks.
Understanding of version control systems like Git.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
