The Assistant Manager – HR & Admin will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations and administrative functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws, supporting recruitment, employee engagement, payroll, performance management, and maintaining a productive work environment aligned with organizational goals.
Job roles & responsibilites:
Manage end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of candidates.
Respond to employee queries and resolve HR and administrative issues promptly.
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
Prepare and process monthly payroll, attendance, leave, PF, ESIC, and other statutory compliances.
Manage employee lifecycle activities, including joining, confirmation, transfers, exits, and full & final settlements.
Coordinate employee engagement, performance management, and retention initiatives.
Handle employee grievances and maintain positive employee relations.
Maintain HR records, employee files, and MIS reports.
Manage recruitment agencies, job portals, and campus hiring activities.
Conduct induction and orientation programs for new employees.
Coordinate training and development programs.
Monitor attendance, leave management, and discipline across the organization.
Draft HR documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, confirmation letters, warning letters, experience letters, and relieving letters.
Support performance appraisal and Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) processes.
Coordinate administrative activities, office maintenance, vendor management, and facility management.
Prepare HR reports and present updates to senior management.
Ensure smooth execution of HR and administrative operations across all departments.
