Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a wide variety of Indian curries, gravies, kebabs, tikkas, breads, and other tandoor specialties as per standard recipes.
- Operate and maintain the tandoor oven, ensuring correct temperatures and safe handling practices.
- Prepare marinades, spice blends, gravies, sauces, and mise en place before each service.
- Ensure consistency in taste, texture, presentation, and portion size for every dish served.
- Maintain food quality standards and ensure timely execution during service hours.
- Assist the Chef de Partie in planning daily production and section readiness.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate purchase requirements to avoid shortages.
- Practice FIFO (First In, First Out), proper storage, labeling, and stock rotation.
- Minimize food wastage through effective portion control and careful ingredient utilization.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and sanitation standards.
- Keep the assigned work area, equipment, and kitchen utensils clean and well maintained.
- Train, guide, and support Commis Chefs and Kitchen Assistants in food preparation and kitchen SOPs.
- Coordinate effectively with other kitchen sections to ensure seamless service.
- Participate in menu development, seasonal specials, and recipe standardization.
- Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues promptly.
- Follow all company policies, kitchen SOPs, grooming standards, and safety procedures.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
