Sauber Environmental Solutions Private Limited is a fast-growing environmental engineering company engaged in design, construction, commissioning, and O&M of Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), and Water Treatment Infrastructure projects across India. We specialize in SBR-based fully automated treatment systems, Automatic Water Treatment Plant and large-capacity municipal and industrial projects.
We are looking for a dedicated and technically strong Civil Engineer to join our Ahmedabad team and support execution of ongoing and upcoming infrastructure projects.
Job Summary
The Civil Engineer will be responsible for execution, supervision, quality control, and coordination of civil works related to STP/ETP/WTP and associated infrastructure projects. The candidate must have hands-on site experience, strong technical understanding, and the ability to coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities1. Site Execution & Supervision
- Execute civil works as per approved drawings, BOQ, and technical specifications
- Supervise construction activities such as excavation, RCC, shuttering, reinforcement, masonry, finishing works
- Ensure work progress as per project schedule
- Daily monitoring of manpower, materials, and equipment
2. Quality Control
- Ensure compliance with IS codes and project specifications
- Conduct cube tests, slump tests, and material quality checks
- Maintain QA/QC documentation and site records
- Coordinate inspections with PMC/Client
3. Planning & Coordination
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports
- Coordinate with structural consultants and design team
- Manage subcontractors and vendors
- Ensure site safety compliance
4. Billing & Documentation
- Prepare measurement sheets and RA bills
- Verify subcontractor bills
- Maintain site order book and site registers
- Assist in extra item claims and variation documentation
5. Material & Resource Management
- Monitor material consumption and wastage
- Coordinate with procurement team for timely material availability
- Maintain inventory records at site
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of RCC structures and water-retaining structures
- Experience in STP / ETP / WTP / Infrastructure projects preferred
- Knowledge of IS codes and construction standards
- Ability to read and interpret civil & structural drawings
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD (basic level preferred)
- Good communication and coordination skills
Qualification & Experience
- B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering
- 3 to 8 years of relevant site experience
- Experience in water & wastewater projects will be an added advantage
