Job Overview
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support the legal team in land-related documentation, due diligence, legal drafting, record management, and litigation-related matters. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of property documentation and civil/legal procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal due diligence of land and property documents while maintaining accuracy, credibility, and confidentiality.
- Search, verify, and maintain land-related documents and property records, including title documents and supporting papers.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing legal deeds, agreements, and property-related documents.
- Prepare and maintain Legal MIS and ensure that legal records, cases, notices, and documentation are updated regularly.
- Assist in drafting legal notices and replies to legal notices received from clients, customers, advocates, or other parties.
- Coordinate and maintain records related to ongoing and upcoming litigation matters.
- Should have basic practical knowledge of Consumer Cases, Title Suits, Civil Cases, and other civil/litigation-related matters.
- Maintain proper documentation of legal cases, notices, agreements, and correspondence.
- Coordinate with advocates, legal consultants, government authorities, and other stakeholders whenever required.
- Ensure timely follow-up on legal matters and maintain proper status records.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Law (LL.B.) or relevant legal qualification preferred.
- Practical knowledge of land/property documentation and legal due diligence.
- Good understanding of deeds, agreements, title documents, and land-related papers.
- Knowledge of legal notice drafting and replying to legal notices.
- Knowledge of maintaining Legal MIS and case records.
- Basic understanding of Consumer Cases, Title Suits, Civil Litigation, and related legal proceedings.
- Good drafting, documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Excel for maintaining legal records and MIS.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive legal documents responsibly.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month
