What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Lead end-to-end mechanical product development from concept to launch.
- Drive DFM, prototyping, testing, certification, and pilot builds.
- Develop product specifications and ensure quality compliance.
- Translate product requirements into engineering plans and NPI deliverables.
- Validate designs through testing, prototyping, and performance evaluation.
- Partner with Operations, Quality, Sourcing, Product Management, and Sales.
- Own engineering deliverables through stage-gate/NPI processes.
- Lead design reviews, FMEAs, and technical risk mitigation.
- Gather customer insights and drive future product improvements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of mechanical product development/design experience
- Proficiency in SolidWorks , CAD modeling, assemblies, drawings, and PDM/PLM systems
- Experience with manufacturing processes : stamping, machining, and injection molding
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- CAD tools: SolidWorks & AutoCAD
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of metals, polymers, and composite materials
- Self-driven with strong collaboration and execution skills
