Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, industry-aware, and student-centric Lecturer in Mass Communication & Journalism who can inspire the next generation of media professionals. The ideal candidate should bring both academic knowledge and real-world insights into the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate courses in Mass Communication & Journalism, including media ethics, news reporting, digital journalism, film studies, PR & advertising, etc.
- Design engaging lesson plans and assessments aligned with modern media trends.
- Guide students through hands-on projects such as mock newsrooms, content creation, and field assignments.
- Organize and support media-related workshops, seminars, guest lectures, and industrial visits.
- Mentor students for internships, media competitions, and career development.
- Contribute to the college’s media club, campus radio, or publication initiatives.
- Stay updated with the latest media trends, tools, and platforms.
Preferred Skills & Competencies:
- Strong subject knowledge in both traditional and digital media domains.
- Excellent communication and classroom delivery skills.
- Familiarity with media tools like Adobe Premiere, Canva, FCP, etc.
- Ability to incorporate real-world case studies and practical assignments.
- A passion for shaping the future of ethical, responsible journalism.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Master’s Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, or a related field (NET-qualified candidates preferred).
- Minimum 1–3 years of teaching or industry experience (media house, production, journalism, PR, advertising, etc.).
- Candidates with industry exposure will be given preference.

Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
