Atri Energy is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support our Solar EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) division. You'll work across the project lifecycle — from design review through commissioning — helping deliver utility-scale, commercial, or residential solar projects on time, on budget, and to spec.
Responsibilities
- Review and coordinate engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and civil/structural designs for solar PV projects
- Manage project scope, schedule, and budget in coordination with project managers
- Serve as technical point of contact between engineering, procurement, and field construction teams
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, quality, and adherence to design specs
- Support liaisoning with DISCOM/GEDA for approvals, net metering, and interconnection
- Review vendor/subcontractor submittals, RFIs, and change orders
- Ensure compliance with CEA regulations, IS standards, and relevant safety codes (OSHA/local equivalents)
- Track and report project milestones, risks, and issues to leadership
- Support commissioning and punch-list closeout activities
- Coordinate with procurement on equipment specs (modules, inverters, structures, BOS components)
- Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- [1–5] years of experience in solar EPC, renewable energy, or construction project engineering
- Working knowledge of IS standards, CEA guidelines, and DISCOM/GEDA requirements
- Strong organizational and communication skills; comfortable working with cross-functional teams
