They balance general front-desk hospitality with basic administrative coordination, such as keeping track of client leads and collecting application documents.
Core Responsibilities
- Inquiry Management: Welcome students, parents, and visitors warmly. Act as the first filter by answering calls and text inquiries regarding courses, admissions, or study-abroad programs.
- Counselor Coordination: Maintain meeting calendars and schedule consultation appointments for the academic and visa counseling teams.
- Data Maintenance: Input and update prospective student information, interaction history, and contact details into the consultancy's CRM database or inquiry logs.
- Document Handling: Assist students with basic paperwork, including compiling initial application dossiers, courier dispatching, and sorting university prospectuses.
- Event Support: Provide front-desk logistics support during student orientation sessions, webinars, and educational fairs.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in any field is generally preferred. High school pass-outs with exceptional communication skills are often considered.
- Language Proficiency: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English alongside the local regional language are essential for explaining basic admission metrics.
- Technical Skills: Basic hands-on proficiency in MS Office (specifically Excel and Word) and cloud applications like Google Workspace. Familiarity with handling multi-channel chat platforms (WhatsApp Business, CRM tools) is highly valued.
