Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js
- Build and optimize server-side rendering / API routes using Next.js
- Design efficient MongoDB schemas, write optimized queries, and manage database performance
- Implement authentication, authorization, and secure data handling practices
- Collaborate with frontend and mobile developers to integrate backend services
- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and testable code
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
- Participate in code reviews and follow best engineering practices
Required Skills
- 2+ years of professional experience in backend development
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js
- Working experience with Next.js (API routes, SSR/ISR concepts)
- Solid understanding of MongoDB (schema design, aggregation pipelines, indexing)
- Good understanding of RESTful API design principles
- Experience with authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, sessions)
- Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative workflows
- Understanding of server-side concepts: caching, middleware, error handling, security best practices
- Basic knowledge of deployment/hosting environments (e.g., AWS, DigitalOcean, or similar)
Good to Have
- Experience with TypeScript
- Familiarity with Docker or containerization
- Exposure to microservices architecture
- Knowledge of Redis or other caching layers
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with GraphQL
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
