We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Operation Manager / Business Development Manager to lead our Facility Management Services (FMS) operations in the Gujarat / Pune region. This is a key leadership role that combines operational excellence with strong business development capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management
- Oversee complete FMS operations including maintenance, housekeeping, security, landscaping, and allied facility services.
- Develop, implement, and enforce standardized policies, SOPs, procedures, and quality & safety standards.
- Track and analyze operational KPIs, identify inefficiencies, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Client Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts and maintain strong client relationships.
- Handle complaints, escalations, and service issues effectively to ensure high client satisfaction.
- Conduct periodic client review meetings to gather feedback and identify new business opportunities.
Business Development
- Prospect and acquire new clients in the Gujarat/Pune region.
- Formulate and execute sales and business development strategies.
- Prepare compelling proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and close new contracts.
- Perform market analysis and monitor competitor activity.
Financial & P&L Ownership
- Take full ownership of the regional Profit & Loss (P&L) – revenue, costs, margins, and variances.
- Prepare and manage the annual operating budget.
- Drive cost optimization while maintaining service quality.
- Provide accurate financial reporting and forecasting to senior leadership.
Requirements:
- Graduate in any discipline (Hotel Management or relevant field preferred). Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in Facility Management, Hospitality, or related sectors.
- Proven experience in P&L ownership and business development.
- Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication with superior negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and operational reporting tools.
- Data-driven approach with strong commercial and business acumen.
