We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Fire Alarm Engineer with 5 to 6 years of hands-on experience in the installation, programming, troubleshooting, and fault removal of both Conventional and Addressable Fire Alarm Systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing projects and maintenance contracts across commercial, residential, and industrial sites in the Delhi-NCR region. You must possess deep technical knowledge of leading OEM systems and be adept at solving complex field faults independently.
Key Responsibilities1. Installation & Commissioning
- Oversee and execute the end-to-end installation of Conventional and Addressable fire alarm panels, detectors (smoke, heat, multi-sensor), MCPs, hooters, and modules (control, monitor, isolator).
- Read and interpret MEP drawings, schematic diagrams, and wiring layouts.
- Program addressable loops, cause-and-effect matrices, and integrate fire systems with third-party systems (BMS, Access Control, Public Address, Lift Tripping).
2. Troubleshooting & Fault Removal
- Diagnose and rectify complex system faults including Earth Faults, Open Circuits, Short Circuits, Loop Double Addressing, and Communication Errors.
- Minimize false alarms by identifying environmental triggers (dust, humidity common in Delhi-NCR) and recalibrating or replacing sensors.
- Conduct loop load calculations and voltage drop testing to ensure system stability.
3. Maintenance & Testing
- Carry out periodic Preventive Maintenance Services (PMS) and Breakdown Maintenance as per NBC (National Building Code) standards.
- Test backup batteries, charging circuits, and main power supplies to ensure 24/7 readiness.
Required Technical Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 4–5 years of core field experience in Fire Alarm Systems.
- System Knowledge: Expert-level understanding of Addressable Systems (e.g., Honeywell, Morley, Notifier, GST, Siemens, Edward, Hochiki or Cooper) and standard Conventional Systems.
- Tools: Proficient in using digital multimeters, loop testers, continuity testers, and OEM-specific programming software.
- Local Regulations: Familiarity with the National Building Code (NBC) of India guidelines for fire protection and Delhi/Haryana/UP Fire Service norms.
- Education: Diploma or B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related engineering field.
Local & Soft Skills (Delhi-NCR Context)
- Geographical Knowledge: Willingness to travel across Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, and nearby industrial areas.
- Language: Fluency in Hindi (for managing local technicians/labor) and working knowledge of English (for reading manuals and writing emails/reports).
- Problem-Solving: Ability to work independently under tight project deadlines at construction sites.
- Vehicle: Ownership of a two-wheeler with a valid driving license is highly preferred for field movement.

Pay: ₹24,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
