Role description
We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer with 7+ years of experience in quality assurance and test automation. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java, SQL, and ATG, along with working knowledge of DevOps practices. You will be part of a cross-functional team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and performance-optimized applications. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java Perform functional, integration, and regression testing across backend systems Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation and backend testing Test and validate customizations and features on the Oracle ATG platform Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps to troubleshoot issues and improve test coverage Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to test planning and estimation Assist in integrating test automation within CI/CD pipelines Ensure continuous quality through test execution, reporting, and analysis Must-Have Skills: 7+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or Software Testing Proficiency in Java for writing test automation scripts Strong working knowledge of SQL for backend and database validation Experience testing applications built on Oracle ATG (Web Commerce) Familiarity with DevOps concepts and tools used in automated build and deployment pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) Strong analytical and debugging skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in Agile teams Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured Knowledge of performance testing and tools such as JMeter Exposure to test reporting tools (e.g., Allure, ReportPortal) Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker
