About the internship
As a financial analyst intern, you will monitor the stock market and track key developments across listed companies, industries, and financial markets. You will create timely, accurate, and concise news updates on corporate announcements, IPOs, earnings, mergers & acquisitions, and other market-moving events while collaborating with the research and content teams.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about the stock market, actively follows financial news, and enjoys staying ahead of market trends.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Monitor the Indian stock market and global market developments throughout the day.
2. Track important market events, including Company announcements, Quarterly earnings, IPOs and listings, Mergers & acquisitions, Regulatory updates, Fundraising activities, Management changes, and major corporate developments. Publish quick, factual news bytes and market updates with speed and accuracy.
3. Keep track of developments across both large-cap and emerging companies.
Identify trending sectors, companies, and market themes that investors should be aware of.
4. Verify information using credible financial news sources before publishing.
5. Stay updated on financial markets, economic events, and corporate announcements daily.
6. Collaborate with the content team to ensure timely dissemination of market news.
Key Requirements
- Currently pursuing bachelor’s degree in finance, economics & business, or related fields.
- Strong interest and understanding of the stock market, finance, business, and corporate developments.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to interpret basic financial information such as balance sheets, P&L statements, and ratios.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to handle deadlines.
- Will be available to work from the office
