Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to promote and sell plywood, laminates, doors, veneers, and related wood products. The candidate will be responsible for developing new customers, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through field visits and customer meetings.
- Develop and maintain relationships with dealers, distributors, contractors, architects, interior designers, and builders.
- Promote plywood, Shuttering Plywood, Silver Wood, Laminated doors, WPC doors, flush doors and other wood products.
- Conduct product presentations and explain product features and benefits to customers.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate prices, and close sales deals.
- Follow up on customer inquiries, orders, payments, and deliveries.
- Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
- Provide regular sales reports to management.
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of plywood, Shuttering Plywood, Silver Wood, Laminated doors, WPC doors, flush doors and building materials products.
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Sales and target-oriented mind-set.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word, Email).
- Ability to travel for customer visits and market development.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in plywood, wood products, building materials, hardware, or construction sales is an advantage.
Experience
- 1–5 years of sales experience in plywood, laminates, doors, veneers, hardware, or construction materials.
- Fresher’s with strong sales aptitude may also apply.
