Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and passionate Biology Teacher to teach students as per the CBSE curriculum. The candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to engage students through practical and interactive learning methods. The teacher will be responsible for academic planning, laboratory activities, student assessment, and board exam preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Biology to students in accordance with CBSE guidelines and syllabus.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and practical sessions safely and effectively.
- Explain concepts in Botany, Zoology, Genetics, Human Physiology, Ecology, Biotechnology, and related topics.
- Monitor and evaluate student performance through tests, projects, and practical assessments.
- Prepare students for CBSE board examinations and competitive exams where applicable.
- Maintain student records, attendance, and academic reports.
- Use digital tools, smart boards, and innovative teaching methodologies.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, and school activities.
- Foster scientific thinking, curiosity, and research-based learning among students.
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Biology, Botany, Zoology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- B.Ed. qualification (preferred/mandatory as per school policy).
- Experience teaching CBSE curriculum.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
