Job Overview:
We are seeking a Hardware Asset Management & Desktop Support Specialist to join LPL's Global Capability Center in Hyderabad. This role owns the full lifecycle of physical IT assets — procurement through disposal — while providing hands-on desktop support to end users. The ideal candidate has strong ITAM discipline, is comfortable working with global/US-based stakeholders and brings solid Excel and ticketing-tool proficiency.
Responsibilities:
Desktop Support

Provide end-user desktop support, including remote and on-site troubleshooting

Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software for end users

Troubleshoot network printers, scanners, and peripheral connectivity issues

Manage device enrolment, Auto-Pilot and configuration via JAMF (Mac fleet) and Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, Intune (Windows fleet), Mobile Devices with Intune MAM / MDM

Log, track, and resolve tickets via ServiceNow within defined SLAs; prepare daily ticket status reports
Hardware Asset Management

Track and manage the complete lifecycle of desktops, laptops, and peripherals — procurement, deployment, maintenance, reclamation, and disposal

Create and maintain asset records in the hardware asset management system (e.g., ALM/CMDB); ensure accurate asset tagging and serial number mapping

Manage inward and outward inventory movements; maintain reconciliation accuracy

Process laptop allocation, hot-swap, and reclaim tickets within SLA
-
Coordinate with vendors on asset procurement, repairs, and returns
Reporting & Compliance

Maintain CMDB accuracy for all hardware assets

Support internal and external audit requirements related to IT asset compliance

Prepare inventory, utilization, and ticket volume reports using Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF, COUNTIF)
Requirements:
Must Have
-
5+ years of experience in Desktop Support

Strong Understanding of Windows, Mac OS, iOS and Android

Hands-on experience with SCCM, Intune, JAMF, MS Entra and Active Directory

Working knowledge of CMDB/ITAM tools and ServiceNow ticketing

Strong Excel skills (formulas, lookups, pivot tables)

Experience supporting global/US-based clients or stakeholders is a plus

Good communication skills and end-user service orientation
