We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to provide end-user IT support and maintain desktop infrastructure. The candidate should have hands-on experience in troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and basic networking issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Operating system installation, upgrade, and maintenance (Windows 10/11).
- Troubleshooting hardware and software-related issues.
- Installation and support of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other business applications.
- Printer, scanner, and peripheral device support.
- Basic LAN, Wi-Fi, and network connectivity troubleshooting.
- User account management and password resets.
- Antivirus installation and endpoint security support.
- Asset management and IT inventory maintenance.
- Providing onsite and remote technical support to users.
- Ensuring timely resolution of support tickets as per SLA.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.
- Desktop and Laptop Hardware Troubleshooting.
- Microsoft Office & Outlook Support.
- Basic Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Printer and Scanner Troubleshooting.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Active Directory.
- Experience with ITSM/Ticketing Tools.
- Basic understanding of Network and Server Support.
Experience
- 1–3 Years of Desktop Support Experience.
- Diploma, Graduate, or equivalent qualification in IT/Computer Science.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
