About the role
We are looking for a hands-on PPC Executive to join our growing digital marketing team in Ahmedabad.
You will work alongside an experienced PPC practitioner to manage, optimise and develop paid advertising campaigns across a portfolio of client accounts. Your focus will be on improving campaign performance, reducing wasted spend, increasing conversions and ensuring clients’ advertising budgets are used effectively.
The role will primarily focus on Google Ads, including Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display and remarketing. Experience with Microsoft Advertising, Meta Ads or other paid advertising platforms would be an advantage.
Many of our clients operate in healthcare and other regulated sectors. Therefore, excellent attention to detail, advertising-policy awareness and responsible campaign management are essential.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and optimise Google Ads campaigns across multiple client accounts.
- Build campaigns, ad groups, advertisements, audiences and targeting structures.
- Conduct keyword research and identify new campaign opportunities.
- Review search-term reports and maintain negative-keyword lists.
- Identify irrelevant traffic, wasted spend and opportunities to improve campaign efficiency.
- Make informed adjustments to bids, budgets, keywords, audiences and targeting.
- Monitor daily and monthly advertising spend against agreed budgets.
- Manage campaign pacing to prevent significant overspending or underspending.
- Write, test and improve advertising copy.
- Develop structured testing plans across ads, keywords, audiences, landing pages and campaign settings.
- Review performance against ROAS, CPA, cost of sale, conversion rate and other commercial KPIs.
- Identify opportunities to improve campaign structure and overall account performance.
- Produce clear PPC reports explaining results, changes made and recommended next steps.
- Support conversion-tracking implementation and troubleshooting.
- Review tracking accuracy across Google Ads, GA4 and website data.
- Help manage Google Merchant Center accounts and product feeds when required.
- Monitor and resolve disapproved advertisements, products and campaign-policy issues.
- Communicate performance and recommendations clearly to colleagues and clients.
- Collaborate with marketing, web development, sales and other departments.
Required skills and experience
- Around three years of hands-on PPC or paid advertising experience.
- Strong experience managing Google Ads Search campaigns.
- Exposure to Shopping, Performance Max, Display or remarketing campaigns.
- Experience building or restructuring campaigns—not only maintaining existing accounts.
- Good understanding of keyword management, bidding strategies, budget management, audience refinement and ad-copy testing.
- Strong search-term analysis and negative-keyword management skills.
- Confidence reviewing high volumes of search-query data and identifying irrelevant traffic.
- Experience conducting keyword research and structuring campaigns around search intent.
- Confidence managing advertising budgets and monitoring spend pacing.
- Ability to analyse Google Ads and GA4 data and turn it into actionable recommendations.
- Experience preparing PPC performance reports.
- Good Excel or Google Sheets skills, including formulas, filters, pivot tables and data manipulation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
Desirable skills and experience
Experience in any of the following would be beneficial:
- Healthcare, pharmacy, insurance, financial services or another regulated industry.
- Google Tag Manager.
- Conversion-tracking implementation and troubleshooting.
- Google Ads offline conversion tracking.
- Call-tracking or lead-tracking platforms.
- Google Merchant Center and product-feed optimisation.
- Microsoft Advertising, Meta Ads or LinkedIn Ads.
- Ecommerce or lead-generation campaigns.
- Landing-page optimisation and conversion-rate optimisation.
- A/B testing.
- PPC scripts, automated rules or other automation tools.
- Using CRM or lead-quality data to optimise campaigns.
