Job Summary
The Tender Executive will be responsible for identifying, preparing, submitting, and managing tenders for construction and infrastructure projects. The role involves coordinating with various departments, preparing bid documents, analyzing tender requirements, and ensuring timely submission of competitive and compliant bids.
Key ResponsibilitiesTender Management
- Search and identify suitable tenders through government and private portals.
- Download, review, and analyze tender documents, BOQs, drawings, and specifications.
- Prepare tender checklists and maintain tender submission schedules.
- Coordinate with internal departments for technical and commercial inputs.
- Ensure timely submission of bids within stipulated deadlines.
Estimation & Costing
- Prepare cost estimates based on BOQ, drawings, and project specifications.
- Obtain quotations from vendors and subcontractors.
- Analyze rates, quantities, and project requirements.
- Assist in preparing commercial proposals and bid pricing.
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and compile technical and commercial bid documents.
- Verify statutory documents such as GST, PAN, PF, ESIC, MSME, ISO certificates, etc.
- Ensure compliance with tender eligibility criteria and submission requirements.
- Maintain records of submitted tenders and supporting documents.
Bid Coordination
- Attend pre-bid meetings and prepare MOM (Minutes of Meeting).
- Clarify tender-related queries with clients and authorities.
- Coordinate with project, planning, procurement, and finance departments.
- Follow up on tender status, bid openings, and results.
MIS & Reporting
- Maintain tender tracker and status reports.
- Generate weekly and monthly tender reports.
- Maintain database of clients, tenders, and competitors.
- Submit progress reports to management.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Additional certification in Quantity Surveying or Estimation will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 3–5 Years: Tender Executive / Engineer
- 5+ Years: Senior Tender Engineer / Tender Manager
Required Skills
- Knowledge of BOQ preparation and quantity surveying.
- Understanding of tendering procedures and contract conditions.
- Knowledge of EPC, Industrial, Commercial, and Infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Familiarity with Government E-Tendering Portals, GeM, CPP Portal, and State Tender Portals.

- Number of tenders submitted per month.
- Tender submission accuracy and compliance.
- Bid success/win ratio.
- Timely completion of tender documentation.
- Cost estimation accuracy.
- Vendor quotation collection and comparison.
- Tender database and MIS maintenance.

- Reduction in tender rejection due to documentation errors.
- Revenue generated through successful tenders.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
