Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of the Restaurant and the Organisation . This role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership, fundraising, marketing, and operational skills. The ideal candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Nariman House Museum:
- Lead fundraising efforts by engaging corporates, institutions, and donors to support the museum’s development.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for the museum’s launch and ongoing operations.
- Conceptualize and implement engaging activities and events to attract visitors.
- Work closely with designers, historians, and curators to create impactful narratives for the museum.
- Oversee the budgeting and financial planning for museum operations.
- Collaborate with the Director on strategic initiatives and reporting.
- Build partnerships with cultural and educational institutions to enhance the museum’s outreach.
Kosher Restaurant:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of service and quality.
- Develop marketing strategies to increase footfall and brand recognition.
- Manage supplier relations, inventory, and cost control for the restaurant.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Supervise staff, handle training, and maintain operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 7-8 years of experience in operations, fundraising, marketing, or hospitality management.
- Strong financial acumen to manage budgets and fundraising targets.
- Excellent marketing and branding skills to promote both the museum and restaurant.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure sponsorships and partnerships.
- Proactive, initiative-taking mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
