About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and technically proficient Application Engineer – Specialty to join our Sales team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have experience in frontline technical sales and service within industrial sectors such as auto ancillaries, lubricants, adhesives, or industrial consumables.
This role serves as the primary interface between customers and the organization, helping clients identify the right lubrication and tribology solutions while driving business growth through technical expertise and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand customers' lubrication and tribology requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Demonstrate and present specialty product offerings to customers, highlighting value, performance, and productivity benefits.
- Develop technical solutions tailored to customer applications and operational needs.
- Prepare professional quotations and ensure accurate order processing.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Manage customer accounts and drive growth within the assigned territory.
- Lead and coordinate service personnel and distributor activities to ensure optimal product performance.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and customer requirements.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify product improvement opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships and proactively identify opportunities for value-added services.
- Provide technical support and application engineering expertise to customers.
Required Qualifications & ExperienceEducation
- B.E. Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institution.
Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in Technical Sales & Service.
- Experience in one or more of the following industries:
- Auto Ancillaries
- Lubricants
- Adhesives
- Industrial Consumables
- Related Industrial Manufacturing Sectors

Pay: Up to ₹1,000,000.00 per year
