Moksha Retails Global Private Limited is a retail-technology and distribution start-up company, headquartered in Bangalore, India. The company has recently acquired the assets of Arzooo, a retail-tech start-up in the Consumer Durables space. The company owns exclusive assets like the Retail B2B tech marketplace for Consumer Durables, B2C marketplace-GoStor and a brand-NU in the consumer durables category.
The company Co-Founder and CEO, Rehan Shaikh, is an e-commerce industry veteran with over 20 years’ experience. Most recently, he was the CEO of e-commerce retailer Clicktech Retail and has formerly done e-commerce leadership roles in Cloudtail and Amazon India.
The key investors in the company are Moksha Group, which is a prominent Mumbai-based business house operating multiple businesses in the Fintech, Distribution and Supply chain domains. The start-up is backed by prominent investors such as Trifecta Capital, Alteria Capital and CapSave Ventures among others.
The vision of the company is to become the largest integrated partner in the Consumer Durables and Electronics space in India, by connecting supply and demand partners and leveraging technology. With the help of digital tools and supply chain solutions, we aim to offer the widest range of consumer durables, small appliances and consumer electronics products of top Indian and international brands as well as own brand Nu to offline and online retail partners across entire India.
Role Overview
The Business Development Executive will play a crucial role in driving Arzooo's growth in the large appliances sector (e.g., LED TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, ACs, and small appliances). The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in sales and market development to expand Arzooo's footprint and build strong relationships with retailers.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Drive:
- Visit and engage with pre-mapped key accounts to drive sales.
- Ensure consistent business growth by meeting sales targets.
- Dealer Onboarding:
- Identify and onboard new retailers in the market.
- Provide necessary support to retailers for a seamless onboarding experience.
- Private Label Sales:
- Pitch and promote Arzooo's private-label large appliance products.
- Educate retailers about product features and benefits.
- Business Development:
- Identify opportunities for growth based on market potential and cross-sell opportunities.
- Develop strategies to enhance Arzooo’s market presence.
- Relationship Support:
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with key accounts in designated districts.
- Address retailer queries and provide solutions to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in business development, specifically in the appliances sector.
- Familiarity with large appliances (TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, ACs, and small appliances) is mandatory.
- Skills:
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Ability to identify and act on growth opportunities in the local market.
- Travel Willingness:
- Must be open to field sales and traveling within a 150–200 km radius.
- Local Market Knowledge:
- Prior experience working in the required location(s) with an understanding of the local retail ecosystem is preferred.
- Experience with marketplace entities will be preferred
Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
